Brian McTaggart is in his eighth season covering the Astros and third for MLB.com. Brian grew up in the Houston area and spent countless summer days inside the air-conditioned comfort of the Astrodome. He previously spent 14 years at the Houston Chronicle and covered the World Series, Super Bowl, NBA playoffs, All-Star Game, College World Series, Little League World Series, Sugar Bowl and Daytona 500, among other events. A graduate of the University of Houston, he now makes his home with his family in the Houston area.
